We understand the nature of online purchases and are happy to accept returns and refund your purchase within 15 days of you receiving your order. After 15 days, we can no longer accept returns. All of our pieces are handmade to order, so please contact us with any questions prior to purchasing to avoid returns and restocking fees. We recommend that you confirm sizing for rings, size of piece, or any other customized pieces prior to placing your online order.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be UNWORN or UNUSED and in the same condition that you received it.

E-mail with your order number, the item(s) you would like to return, the reason for return, and the type of refund (see options below).

Please note: we do not accept returns after 15 days. If your jewelry is damaged or need repairs see our Warranty section below. 


  • Customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • 30% restocking fee will be deducted from overall purchase amount.
  • Balance will be refunded back to original method of payment minus shipping costs.


    • Free return shipping.
    • 25% restocking fee will be deducted from overall purchase amount.
    • Balance will be in the form of store credit minus shipping costs.

Due to their custom nature, made-to-order jewelry are final sale. Made-to-order jewelry includes customized orders that are not part of our standard line.

Items that have been resized, engraved, or modified are not eligible for return.

We understand how frustrating it can be to have your jewelry not meet expectations, but as a small, growing company we are unable to fully refund for jewelry at this time due to us investing in each piece for when the order is placed. Thank you for understanding and hopefully in the future we can offer a more flexible return policy.



Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your returned item(s). This email will also confirm that a store credit or refund has been issued. Please allow 5-8 days for this process.

Warranty (Domestic)

Quality is extremely important to us so if a metal part of your jewelry breaks (i.e. prongs on your ring), please contact us immediately for a no-cost repair up to one year after your purchase date. Some exclusions apply.

Our warranty does not cover general wear and tear or lost stones. Please note that A Gilded Leaf is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared 'Delivered' by the delivery service. We are also unable to return any items once they have been altered by a third party jeweler.

To be eligible for the warranty:

  • Diamonds or Gemstones must not be exposed to unreasonable force or harmful conditions.
  • The warranty does not apply to a product that has been stored or handled incorrectly, abused, altered, or treated by incorrect cleaning methods.
  • The warranty does not cover normal wear & tear, cuts, scratches, or lost stones.
  • Warranty applied to the original purchaser of the product; the warranty is not transferable.

We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle.

Warranty (International)

As we do not offer warranties for international customers, we understand you may need to trust an outside jeweler with the care and keeping of your ring.

Should your ring need emergency assistance or has defects, we are happy to repair the ring. There may be some fees associated with your request. We cannot cover the costs of international return shipping at this time.
